HEAVY TRAFFIC COATING
Demalay®
Demalay® is a polymer-modified concrete system combined with latex additives to improve adhesion strength, flexibility, chemical resistance, and long-term durability. The product is commonly used for surface coatings, structural repairs, and waterproofing projects.
Applications:
- Bridge deck overlays and industrial traffic coatings.
- Repairing road surfaces and airport runways.
- Seaport concrete surfaces and industrial factory floors.
- Repairing concrete structures in vertical and overhead positions.
Features:
- Compressive Strength (28 days): 35 MPa.
- Flexural Strength: 5 MPa.
- Slump: 8 - 120 mm.
- Air Content: < 6%.
- Maximum Aggregate Size: 10 mm.
- Adhesion Strength (Slant Shear): > 2.5 MPa.
- Working Time: 30 - 60 minutes.
- Initial Setting Time: 2 - 3 hours.
- Final Setting Time: 4 - 6 hours.
Installation & Curing Instruction:
- 1. Preparation: Clean, roughen, and pre-wet surface to SSD condition.
- 2. Formwork: Securely install formwork and guide rails to design level.
- 3. Mixing: Mix components using specialized equipment per exact ratios.
- 4. Pouring: Pour continuously; compact and level manually or by laser screed.
- 5. Finishing: Power trowel to achieve the required surface texture.
- 6. Curing: Immediate wet curing for at least 7 days.
- 7. Jointing: Cut joints once strengthened and fill with suitable sealant.
