Application Instructions:
I. Surface Preparation:
- Cleaning: Clean the surface, ensuring it is free of dust, impurities, moss, and grease/oil.
- Wetting/Cooling: If the wall is quite dry and absorbent, or if the surface temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius, it is necessary to pre-wet and cool the wall surface with clean water.
- Optimal Moisture: The most suitable substrate moisture content is 16%.
II. Mixing Ratio & Procedure:
- Mixing: Slowly add the powder into the water container to avoid clumping.
- Blending: Stir the mixture using a specialized mixer until the paste is uniform.
- Pot Life: Use the mixed paste within 4 hours at a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius.
III. Application & Sanding:
- Application: Use a specialized trowel to apply the flexible putty onto the surface.
- Coats: To achieve an optimal smooth surface, apply at least 2 coats of putty, with each coat separated by 1 - 2 hours.
- Drying/Sanding: Allow the putty coats to air-dry naturally for at least 24 hours, then proceed with sanding.
- Post-sanding Clean-up: Clean the dust thoroughly with a damp cloth.
IV. Painting:
- Only apply the primer coat when the surface is completely dry.
