Vandex Super

Vandex Super is a cementitious, in-depth crystalline waterproofing slurry. It works by reacting with moisture and free lime to form insoluble crystals that block capillaries and minor shrinkage cracks, ensuring permanent water tightness.

Applications:

  • Foundations: Slabs, retaining walls, and backfilled structural elements.
  • Water Tanks: Drinking water structures, swimming pools, and sewage treatment plants.
  • Infrastructure: Construction joints and heavy-duty concrete protection.

  • Compressive Strength: > 15 MPa.
  • Chloride Ion Content: < 0.05%.
  • Adhesion Strength: min 0.8 MPa.
  • Capillary Absorption: max 0.5 Kg/m2.h0.5.
  • Workability at 20°C: ~ 30 minutes.
  • Setting Time at 20°C: 1 - 2 hours.
  • Coverage: 1.5 Kg/m2.
  • Packaging: 25kg PE-lined paper bag
  • Warranty period: 5 years.

Installation & Curing Instruction:

  • Substrate: Must be sound, open-pored, and pre-wetted to a damp (SSD) condition.
  • Mixing: 5 parts Vandex Super to approximately 2 parts water.
  • Method: Applied by brush, spray, or dry sprinkling onto fresh concrete.
  • Protection: Must be protected from UV exposure and traffic with a topping or protective layer.
